The Blog's Abscence

First up, I would just like to apologize for the blog's delay in news Lately I have been moving into my new residence and therefore I haven't been able to find the time to write and in truth still in the process. But once I finish unpacking the last of my things the blog should be up and running once again. Thank you all for your support and your patience as well.

Luigi in the Limelight

For those of you that don't know, this year marks the 30th year of Luigi, marking 2013 as the year of Luigi. In order to celebrate, GameCandy's background will be green with Luigi as well as other Luigi icons. Also celebrating Luigi is Nintendo, as they have revealed both New Super Luigi U as well as Mario and Luigi: Dream Team this year at E3. Mario and Luigi: Dream Team will be released on August 8, 2013 on the Nintendo 3DS eshop and in retail. New Super Luigi U has already been released on the Nintendo Wii U eshop for those who already own New Super Mario Bros. U, and will be released at retail on August 25, 2013 as a stand alone title. For more information on these titles click the links below for screen shots and a more detailed description.

Welcome to GameCandy

Thank you for visiting GameCandy! This blog will offer you coverage on all Nintendo news, as well as reviews for games on Nintendo platforms. My plan is to update the blog daily and offer content in the best way possible, while keeping it informative and straight to the point. And no, I'm not about to tell some back story on my life, or the reason for why I started this blog or anything of that sort. What I am focused on however -  the games. I know that's why you're here, to get all the latest info on Nintendo, and I wish to cater to my readers. Sure this blog is small and is not big and popular like many others, but I know that with readers like you, support and all, along with time, together we shall all make this blog grow. Once again, thank you for your support and I hope to see you on my blog again.
Thank You!
